I been putting together a pro system for home use just to try something new and so forth and wonder what your opinions on what a good speakers for the price. My max budget is if possible. I am just looking now but will be buying sometime beginning of next month. I already have other good home I think stuff like my Harman Kardon hk dual-mono power amp, Harman Kardon hk matching preamp, schitt sys passive volume controller, and pair of technics sba speakers.

Just looking to put a pro system together and all that’s missing is speakers. I found pair of Yamaha speakers in my area for locally but don’t know how long they’ll stay up on craigslist.

No model listed but has cv on the woofers and they look like 15″ woofers.

Only concern I have is low jbk response with these I heard of with pro speakers. They use ” woofers most of them and most is only rated for around 50hz. Will this become an noticeable issue music wise?

I listen to all kinds of music of many genres. I just love music. Im not a bass head but do like a nice punchy thump sometimes. Any good suggestions what to keep an eye out for? I’ve got a pair of Community MVP15’s that sound really nice, and decent bass but even used in good shape, you’r looking probably Jvl always wanted a pair if Yamaha Club Series Stay away from no name brands, like Matrix or similar.

Brands to watch for. A whole ‘nother world You need an extra Peavey SP-2’s are within your budget, and you have enough power to run 4 pair with ease. You’ll be hard pressed to buy a much better sounding speaker for the entry fee. I like speakers that warn you they can permanently damage your hearing. Not a steal, and maybe a little high, but if it’s all you can find near your price.

found used PA system- is this a good price?

NEXO is really mbl end true pro gear An entire band was playing through a pir of them and the sound of that blew me away, and blew away the sound of a lot of bands I’ve heard in a bar. I seriously doubt you’d find a pair. I’ve been looking for a long time ubl never found any I could afford even used. Just depends on the age and condition I’ve never heard the SP3’s without subs.

jbo Yorkville is another decent brand that sometimes flies under the radar. Probably not at the pricepoint of the Peavey SP-2 though. A couple weeks ago I picked up a pair of jbl speakers.

I have been really enjoying them. I would find a pair that has biamp capabilities.

Just stay away from any jbl tr series. Another tip is to try to verify that what you are looking at has quality drivers and not bargain basement replacements.
