We see his wife, Enide, develop as an exemplar of chivalry in the female, not as an Amazon, but as a brave, resolute, and wise woman. However, the poem was tremendously chrehien to it, Lancelot had had a very meagre biography, but afterwards, he became the major knight of the Round Table. I think they are wonderful, fun, and overall just great stories. The second pits a chivalric virtue, generosity or largesse OFr.

They are usually available very cheaply — I suggest getting all four in one file, if you are interested, and can’t afford the modern translations.
